Awapuni Tennis Club lies on the west side of the city. Travellers from the north should turn right at the Tremaine Avenue lights immediately after crossing the railway line, and proceed to Botanical Road, making a left turn then travelling south until reaching Ferguson Street. Turn right there then the second left into Newbury Street. The park is just a short way down on the right.

Travellers from the south should cross Fitzherbert Bridge, then turn left into Park Road at the second set of traffic lights. Proceed to the end of Park Road, where it veers right into Botanical Road. Proceed to Ferguson street, turn left at the roundabout, then second left into Newbury Street.
